What better way to celebrate Diwali than through an informal networking dinner involving the Indian business diaspora in Manchester, along with leading local business entities from Manchester and neighbouring areas. The event that was sponsored by Deloitte UK and organized by MIDAS under the ‘Manchester India Partnership’ (MIP) initiative was a huge success to say the least. The Manchester India Partnership, a movement initiated in 2018 was setup to develop and reinforce trade, investment, cultural and educational associations between Manchester and India. The event presented a unique platform for many Indian businesses who were attempting to establish themselves in the UK market, by allowing them to forge new connections and market themselves to the people who mattered. The event was organized at the prestigious MCR Museum in Manchester and was presided by bigwigs from Deloitte, MIDAS and graced by several other dignitaries.
The event provided a tremendous opportunity for Indian entrepreneurs to rub shoulders with an eclectic mix of key business personnel from Manchester, under a highly electric ambience which comprised of a blend of both Indian and British cultures. As an esteemed participant at the celebrations, Ganesan (CEO) was able to interact with diverse individuals having likeminded interests, allowing him to meet new people and build his corporate network. It was not all business though. The evening was a celebration of cultures and the participants were regaled with a well-presented entertainment programme which was hosted with much élan and finesse, followed by a sumptuous dinner. It was certainly a Diwali celebration to remember and cherish.
