Technical Project Manager
Guires is a highly recognised, global pharmaceutical manufacturing business, experiencing a period of growth coupled with the introduction of a new range of products, is looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager to work on a series of projects, to be initially engaged in a major project involving site transfer of pharmaceutical/Medical Devices products internationally.
As a Technical Project Manager, responsibilities will include:
- Responsibility for organising engineering transfer and scale-up projects
- Building and structuring New Product Introductions (NPI) projects
- Creating and executing project plans
- Managing and reporting on project budgets within defined parameters and scope
- Creating and maintaining the full range of relevant project documentation
- using risk management techniques to facilitate project decisions and actions aligned to the Quality Management System
- Actively communicating with internal and external stakeholders and project team members to ensure project delivery and accurate status reporting
Experience required:
- First degree in a relevant engineering or scientific discipline
- A minimum of 5 years working in technical roles aligned to manufacturing processes within the Pharmaceutical or Medical Device industries.
- At least 2 years experience of managing and coordination technically focused projects, essentially including site transfer of pharmaceutical products
- A successful track record of delivering technically complex projects
- Experience of managing dynamic cross-functional teams and project matrix structures
