Supply Chain General Manager
Supply Chain General Manager's role is an incredibly niche and rare opportunity in a lucrative market. We are looking for a candidate with extensive knowledge of the healthcare market, supply chain building experience and an entrepreneurial and commercial mindset. Responsibilities include:
- Build and oversee the overall medicinal cannabis supply chain, from growers through to patients
- Develop relationships, negotiate terms, and source finished medicinal cannabis products from global suppliers
- Establish and manage global and local partner ecosystems to streamline processes and ensure delivery
- Develop contract manufacturing supply chain for derived products, enabling the rapid commercialisation of IP after the company has acquired the licenses
- Manage clinical education team; help doctors to understand the benefits of prescribing company's products, and work with them to receive feedback from patients to refine and develop future product lines
- Work closely with company's science partner, to ensure we stay at the bleeding edge of new research and data.
Experience required:
- Extensive background in Healthcare Supply Chain or Business
- Commercially minded and entrepreneurial drive
- Excellent understanding of the UK healthcare system and structure; NHS & private
- Ability to train and educate clinical professionals on the product range
- Demonstrate the ability to make clear business decisions and identify and define business needs.
