Senior HSE Advisor
You will act as the competent lead person for Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) and provide superior advice to a range of stakeholders across multiple sites. To develop, implement and continuously improve HSE arrangements ensuring the organisation complies with, and where possible exceeds all current Health & Safety legislation.
Responsibilities:
- Create an engaging and simplified framework of HSE that enables managers to undertake their responsibilities efficiently while ensuring all legislative reporting is reviewed promptly and records are maintained effectively
- Establish a cohesive and collaborative relationship with all members of the H&S committee and work proactively with them to establish and maintain a programme of continual improvement. Co-ordinate and support Health and Safety Committee Meetingsvv
- Develop engaging and trusted relationships with a wide range of stakeholders and support them to maintain safe systems at work in compliance with legislation, providing specialist advice, coaching and practical support as required
- Monitor, evaluate and review existing and new HSE legislation and ensure that the Company Group has systems and practice in place to meet legal compliance
Skills/Requirements:
- Experienced HSE professional, holding a recognised Health & Safety qualification
- Competent in Potent Compound Handling
- Excellent organisational skills with an ability to work at the pace
- Ability to assess, simplify and improve HSE across multiple sites
- An ability to work flexibly, calmly and efficiently while responding to multiple business priorities.
