Director of Drug Safety
We are looking for a Director of Drug Safety to join our team permanently. This is a responsible role for individuals who would be able to manage and have overall responsibility for the Pharmacovigilance (PV) function within our clients Medical Department, ensuring regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include cross-functional working with Regulatory Affairs and vendor management.
Experience required:
- Strategic/operational level experience
- Vendor management
- Liaising with Regulatory Authorities
- Ensuring compliance and GVP requirements are met
- Signal detection and risk management
- Worked globally (desirable)
Your key responsibilities will be:
- To act as the UK Qualified Person for Pharmacovigilance (UK QPPV)
- To plan budgets for PV activities and ensure adherence to budgets
- To ensure the Chief Medical Officer and Global Leadership Team are provided regular updates of our clients' PV status and immediately notified of potential PV risks.
